    Default Google and Website Speed

As you know Google announced some months a go that load speed of pages is a factor for ranking results. Now my question is: Has some body experienced penalizing because of low speed of his server? If yes, how did you solve the problem?
And should all of us buy dedicated server for our websites?

Since Google's announcement that they have included site speed as one of their factors for ranking, SEOs have scrambled to strip down their sites to make it much more faster. The funny thing is, it's still just one of 200+ factors, a factor by which was added to rank site that have almost the same amount of content. I'm not saying to ignore it, I'm just saying be reasonable when optimizing for it. As far as the penalty goes, I think the greatest penalty you would receive is definitely not from Google, but from your users. A slow loading site may turn off your users, and have them going to your competitor which is a much faster site than yours.
