One of the guys here showed me a very cool tool for Checking Back Links today at Link Diagnosis. It seems fairly promising. It shows your backlinks, the top pages you link to, and the anchor text of your backlinks (it works best with a firefox extension by the way).

Why does it "need" the Firefox Extension? It's funny but I don't really trust a tool promising golden mountains IF you install a toolbar of some sort. In fact I've been trying to cut down on extension and toolbars - starting with the Google toolbar a year and a half ago.

Does that make me a tinfoilhat?
