Exclamation PR Prediction? - Just use SEOMOZ's Pagestrength

This is the only tool i use to measure my site's future pr right now.

    SEOMoz's Pagestrength Tool

This tool uses several aspects of your site's backlink status to confirm its strength
Whatever your Pagestrength is chances are that your pr is the same if its x.5 then just round it to the next highest number for eg.

    if its 5.5 - then its a perfect 6

    For example, heres mine:

I have sites ranking at 7 for a keyword, and SEOMoz's page strength ranks 1, 2, and 3 all worse. Explain that?

I don't use any PR prediction tools. I just let the tool bar update when it updates. I know that the actual PR value gets updated all the time.

I use prediction tools just for fun because that's all they are! Anyone who relies on them is just setting themselves up for a let down.

I am going to have to break you guys in on the PR thing eh?

Exported PR is like the fantasy you'll never live....nothing about it is reality based.

At best it's three months stale at least...perhaps more....

But since its my first post here I'll let Spinal Tap take over and they can explain why chasing PageRank is futile

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...

Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?

    Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.

Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

    Marty DiBergi: I don't know.

Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?

Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.

Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

Don't be a Nigel and thanks for having me!
